Join the Legacy Arts Project for the 11th Annual Keepers of the Flame Awards. We will honor community members who have helped to shape and sustain the culture of the African Diaspora in Pittsburgh.

Lorena Amos, Cathleen Bailey, Norma Jean Barnes, Cecil Brooks, II, Norman Brown, George Hogan, and Stella Hopewell are our distinguished 2018 honorees.

Each awardee has contributed something unique to the lives of their fellow Pittsburghers. Through dance, art, literature and performance their gifts continue to uplift the spirit of creativity within all of us.

We will begin the evening with a reception at 6:00pm
The awards ceremony will begin at 7:00pm
