The life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stands as a testament to the undying power of peace and perseverance and the Legacy Arts Project, in conjunction with the Sankofa Village for the Arts, commemorated his birthday with a mural to honor his legacy.
"The children are our future. We must teach them so they know which way to go." said resident artist, Saihou Njie.
All in attendance contributed to the mural which will be on display at Sankofa Village upon its completion.
