Fall is in the Air

Not rushing the summer, but it's inevitable...

The winding down of summer brings lots to be missed: cookouts, swimming pools, and all the white clothes that you'd ever want to wear. But you can't deny that the Fall is a beatuiful time in Southwestern Pennsylvania. For those of us who appreciate the splendor of nature, the bursting forth of colors (from the big box of crayons) stimulates the senses to know that it is a blessing to witness the changing of the seasons. And with that comes the Fall schedule of programming for the Legacy Arts Project. Check us out. Take a class. Spread the word. Support our partners. Live and love fully!!
Its Back to the Business of Learning
With the fall comes the new school year, and with all the programming that Legacy did this summer, just didn't seem like quite enough to occupy the children for all the weeks that school was out. (Note for next year: extend the summer program just a little longer.) Now we're all ready for school to get back in motion and Legacy will be working with the Consortium for Public Education for the third year to provide afterschool programming at Woodland Hills Junior High School. Additionally, Legacy is newly a partner with the Pittsburgh Public Schools and has plans to work with middle school youth in the district.

We wish all of our youth a productive and positive school year and give thanks to all the teachers and administrators working hard to show them the world!!
