We would love for you to come to Legacy and volunteer your time, by speaking with our youth and helping them learn the beauty of self reflection. Through your unique lived experiences, we believe that you will ignite a beautiful change in our youth’s lives. Our “Guided Self Reflections” begin Thursday June 26th, and will be held every Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00pm. 

As the warmer months quickly approach us, we move closer and closer to a special moment in time at Dance Africa Pittsburgh! Our 13th Dance Africa Pittsburgh is confirmed for Saturday & Sunday July 26th - 27th at the New Hazlett Theater.

The Legacy Arts Project is thrilled to announce that we are now accepting sponsorships and program advertisements for Dance Africa Pittsburgh 2025 — our 13th annual celebration of rhythm, culture, and connection.

On Saturday April 12, 2025 at the Legacy Arts Project, the one and only Youssouf Koumbassa graced our dance studio with his fluid and ethereal movement in preparation for Dance Africa Pittsburgh 2025.
